The Labarum is a combination of the Greek letters “X” (Chi) and “P” (Rho), forming an abbreviation for the name Jesus Christ.

It was believed that the symbol manifested itself to the Roman Emperor Constantine I in a vision before a battle, ordering him to put a “Heavenly Devine Symbol” on his soldiers’ shields. The intersection of the letters devides the “X” in six parts. Six is a sacred number per excellence and creation depicting harmony, balance and inner peace.
